The Wedding

Once upon a time there were three red witches.

The head witch was an older one who told the younger ones what to do. She was very experienced in witchery, but she was a little too arthritic to fly on her broomstick any longer.
There was also this gent…an older one…he kept the older witch company when the younger ones were doing her bidding.  He enjoyed drinking tea and eating biscuits in the late afternoon while the older witch napped.

Four ladies were planning a wedding for a young couple.  They wished and wished for sunshine and flowers, but the weather report was not promising.

The older witch heard the wish from the ladies planning the wedding.  She sent the three younger witches out with a special potion to sprinkle in the clouds over the wedding site.
The sun rose as wished for over the wedding gardens.  The Grannies arrived and took their seats up front so they could hear the wedding vows.
The Groomsmen took their places in preparation for meeting the Bridesmaids.

The Maid of Honor stood in her place to begin the processional.
The Mother of the Bride arrived and was escorted to her seat with the Maiden Aunties close
behind her.
All families have that one cousin who dresses to steal the show from the bride…this family was no exception.

Thankfully, the handsome cousin in the Navy got leave to come home for the wedding.
The European members of the family arrived and dressed in all their finery to celebrate the special day.

Tex and Betty Sue flew in from New Mexico.

Aunt Millie was so happy to see her niece wed to such a promising young man…but as everyone always says, you can never tell from her expression!

Uncle Buck came.  The kids found his eye patch horrifying, but the adults all knew he was faking it.  He loved the attention his clothes got him.

The wedding party assembled…

The gardens were gorgeous.

The bride was stunning.  The congregation gasped with pleasure.

The Bride and Groom recited their vows.

They were MARRIED!

One red witch reported to the older witch that the mission was successful.

The older witch praised the younger ones
for a job well done.
