In Fitchburg, our Cinderfella entered the ring with
all guns blazing. He beat 42 other dogs to win
four points and the admiration of many other
people just because of his back story. Shooter's
original owner died when Shooter was two.
The man's family adopted him but soon understood
that they couldn't live up to this boy's
potential and
sent him back to us when Shooter was five. Less than a month
after his return, he won a major! What a way to start
his new life.
We could not believe our eyes when we witnessed
the judge point to Shooter for the win. I am
sure everyone in Fitchburg, as well as Ron in
heaven, could hear us scream and whoop for joy.
Thank you Snowden Hill family who were there to
share the magic. I won't ever forget
the win as long as I live! Carol Stevens took this photo from across the ring. It was the view the judge had when she knew our boy was top gun. He hunts, too! Shooter earned his JH in four straight passes under judges Frank McKane and Melanie Ferruci on 09/25/11  |
