The Beginnings
|
|
It all began way back in the 'dark ages' (late 1920's) with Collies and Shetland Sheepdogs. The Grampian name was chosen for two reasons: The humans are descended from the Scots, and the breeds were developed in Scotland. The Grampian Hills are in Scotland, so Grandmother thought the name was a perfect fit for her dogs. The photo to the left is Princess of Grampian. (Willhaven Toffer x Jo-Ro Shadow of Coquette) She was the last Collie owned by the family. |
